I’m always interested in becoming more productive and on the habits and routines others engage in to perform their work. This page will become a collection of the methods of others, maybe including a small analysis on each strategy.

- Wake up and mentally plan tasks for the day
- Grind and drink one cup of coffee
- 3 hours of undisturbed flow before lunch, aim to complete one key task
- Work completed in 4-5 ‘pomodoro’ cycles
- Cook for half an hour
- Eat for half an hour
- Afternoon spent on maintenance, superficial work and experiments e.g:
- Reading, learning
- Replying on blogs & forums
- Editing Wikipedia
- Maintenance on repositories
- Answering emails
- Journal for half an hour
- Highlighting and reading a book in bed

- Wake at 7-8am
- Cold bath followed by a cup of coffee
- Sit and write until midday
- Relax by playing the flute for half an hour
- Dress up and go out to lunch
- Return home and read until 4pm
- Walk for 2 hours
- Read The Times at 6pm
- Go to a theatre or concert (almost every night)
- Eat a light, cold supper
- Either talk to other diners or return home around 10pm
- Read a few pages of a book before sleep
