Bullshit Jobs by David Graeber
Review ★★★
Not bad but probably needlessly harsh in some points. I am reminded of Ellul's concept of efficiency in The Technological Society and wonder whether some may fall prey to the idea that whatever cannot be quantified cannot get the recognition it deserves. Apart from this, however, I think the author has some useful points on the subject of meaningful work. Probably a love/hate book for most I think.
Read in 2022.
