A World of My Own

by Robin Knox-Johnston

Review ★★★★

Despite not knowing a thing about sailing, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Robin combines narration with journal entries to reconstruct the story of the first non-stop, single-handed sailing trip around the world. So many lessons in here that apply to so much more than sailing—perhaps most of all the value of maintenance; small jobs done habitually each day in pursuit of a lofty goal.
