Another excellent read from Knausgard. What makes this series so unique is the utter lack of filter from the perspective of the author—every misstep or traumatic moment serves only as fuel for a novel that sacrifices everything for the sake of truth and art. The fact I was hooked on mundane, painstaking details like a shopping trip or a children's party is evidence of expert prose. Highly recommend but not for the faint of heart.
